The South Bay Small Business Development Center offers tons of free resources to help small companies grow and compete, but many professionals don’t know about this great federally-funded resource. Small business expert Lawrence Johnson will be talking about how the SBDC helps add value to businesses and will be presenting tips on how to ensure your business growth is on track at this month’s Coffee Time!

Lawrence currently serves as Interim Director of the Small Business Development Center at El Camino College in Hawthorne. He has provided strategic business consulting services for apparel manufacturers, food and beverage processors, retail businesses, hard goods manufacturers and professional services firms.

Coffee Time takes place on the third Thursday of the month (except in December); members network at 8:00 am, meeting begins promptly at 8:15. Meetings are FREE for Members, not-yet-members pay $10.

As usual, we meet at the Coffee Connection, 3838 S. Centinela Avenue at Venice Boulevard. Free parking in the cafe’s lot south of the building.
