Whether you meet prospects online or in an actual elevator, the 30-second elevator pitch is a time-tested way to get your important “who am I” business information across briefly and succinctly. This month, Allison Beale, no stranger to compressing a book’s worth of advice into a few sentences, will show you how to distill your essential skills and services into a brief but complete 30-second business pitch. Allison, whose job is to advocate for and help families with seniors transition to assisted and managed care, is an expert at giving new prospects just enough information to establish herself as a go-to resource for senior care. She’ll show you what she does to get attention and leave an impression!

  • Deciding what your most important attributes are
  • How you’re different from other businesses you compete with
  • How to phrase your comments to focus on your listener, not yourself

Allison will talk about these topics and more when she presents at our in-person Coffee Time, the Chamber’s monthly meeting, on October 21st at 8:30 am.

We will also cover the City’s vaccination announcements that now affect retailers, hospitality businesses and other storefront service companies, as well as legislative policy updates that affect our corner of Los Angeles.

And, of course, we’ll have our regular round-robin business introductions, where you can take 1-2 minutes to promote your company and help us steer business to you. Come see your fellow chamber members and other friendly Mar Vista local professionals on Zoom, and bring a big smile!
